A: Never! You pay the same price you would at our stores. There is no charge for delivery.
Q: Where do you pick up and drop off my clothes?
A: We'll pick up and drop off your items anywhere you like. This could be outside of your front door, on a screened porch, inside a garage, or anywhere else at your home or office.
Q. What type of bag should I put my clothes in for pick-up?
A. We'll give you a free nylon Pratt Abbott laundry bag to use. If you can't find your bag or can't fit everything in it, you can leave your clothes in a plastic bag in your usual drop-off spot. Your driver will pick it up and give you a new laundry bag for your next order.
Q: What can I put in my bag for cleaning?
A: You can fill your bag with dry cleaning, regular laundry, and household items such as slipcovers and drapes. If you have a large item that doesn't fit in your bag (like a rug), contact your driver and he'll pick it up along with the rest of your items. You can also fill your bag with seasonal clothing and let your driver know they're ready for storage. We'll clean and store your items and return them to you whenever you're ready.
Q: Do I have to be there when the drop-off or pick-up is made?
A: No. You do not need to be present to use the service. Just make sure that we are able to access your drop-off spot.
Q: Will different people be coming to my home or business each time I have an order?
A: No, you will have a dedicated driver who will pick up and deliver your items each week. You will have direct access to him by phone, text and email.
Q: What are my scheduled drop-off and pick-up days?
A. Your schedule will be arranged with your driver when you set up your free delivery account. Most neighborhoods are serviced twice a week.
Q: How do I pay for the service?
A: Once you’ve set up your account, your dry cleaning will be charged to your credit or debit card. Remember, there is no fee for the pick-up and delivery service!
Q: How do I notify Pratt Abbott about a special request for garment care?
A: Write us a note with any special instructions and include it in your Pratt Abbott laundry bag. Or you can contact your driver directly.
Q: How do I change my personal information and/or preferences?
A: You can change any of your account information by contacting your driver by phone, text or email.
Q: What do I do if there is a problem with my order after I get my clothes back?
A: Please contact your driver by phone, text or email. We will resolve the problem immediately.
